Basic Module

The 9001AK_N_2020 study plan of the University of Szeged, Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical School applies to students partaking the Basic Module.

In order to obtain the Doctor of Medicine diploma, students need to acquire a minimum of 360 credits (by fulfilling the study and examination requirements of the subjects listed in the suggested study plan). In the final year, students, furthermore, have to complete the Final (State Board) Examination, consisting of writing and defending a thesis, passing a complex written test and an oral patient examination (with a theoretical and practical part).


The order of taking the courses is set in the study plan which is designed for completing medical studies within 12 semesters (6 years).
