Online application for international students for the academic year 2024/2025

Application is available from December 1, 2023.

We welcome applications from all over the world. Please, go to the University of Szeged online Application System Dream Apply: apply.u-szeged.hu and create a Dream Apply account for yourself by registering with your e-mail. The verification message that allows you to continue the registration process will be sent to this e-mail address.

Application deadline: Health Science Degree programmes: June 30, 2024 (23:59 CET)

Please note that in case of the General Medicine Programme transfer students are required to submit their application by May 31, 2024 (23:59 CET)

Application deadline: Foundation Year programme: July 31, 2024 (23:59 CET)

Applicantions are asked to be fully submitted until the application deadline! Please note that places are offered on a first come first served basis. Late applicants are considered based on place availability.

You will be able to track the progress of your application online by signing into your Dream Apply account with your e-mail and entering your password. Please write down your password, as you need it every time you want to log into the system. Please, also make sure to remember your Dream Apply Applicant ID (4 or 5 digit number) for future references.

Please note that Health Science Programmes only have ”Fall intake” starting in September each academic year. 


Application fee (non-refundable) for the degree programmes: 300 EUR

Please note that the above fee is a combined application and entrance examination / evaluation fee that is to be paid only once regardless of the number of applied health science programmes (maximum 3 programmes) and includes a maximum of two examination chances in case it
is offered by the University.

Online (bank card) payment can be made through Simple Pay (available within the Dream Apply Application System.)

Application fee (non-refundable) for the Foundation Year programme: 200 EUR

Please be aware that unpaid application fee invoice blocks the submission of application.
