What was your first impression of the city of Szeged and the University? How long did it take to feel comfortable?
Raissa Guedes Pereira (Brazil), Class of 2024: Szeged reminded me of my hometown in Brazil. I come from a university town that is also small and full of people in their 20s and having that same atmosphere in Szeged made me feel welcomed. I would say that within my first year I made Szeged a second home.

The University of Szeged has announced the establishment of a new, state-of-the-art radiopharmaceutical production plant.
This is to inform you that starting this year, applicants who have completed their medical studies in a language other than Hungarian will have to take a special Hungarian language test.
The Department of Nuclear Medicine at the University of Szeged, led by Prof. Dr. László Pávics, has performed the first radioligand treatment in Hungary, opening a new way in the treatment of prostate cancer patients.
