In September 2023 a brand new dormitory opened its doors to international students. Spring Student Apartments is only a few hundred meters away from the centre of Szeged, close to the educational facilities and is easily accessible on foot, by bike or by public transport.

For Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship students the University provides accommodation at one of its dormitories on the basis of place avaliability at the time of their arrival.

Tribute to Prof. Dr. László Dux

Colleagues, friends and students greeted the 70-year-old Professor Dr. László Dux with a public laudation. The professor, who was the head of the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Szeged for 27 years, is still actively involved in public affairs and sets an example of unbroken creative drive to his environment.
