Borbála Szepes and Fatime Hawchar received awards on the ceremony on Albert Szent-Györgyi memorial day.
As a recognition of her outstanding performance in the JPEMS programme, Borbála Szepes received the Dean’s Award from the Council of the Faculty of Medicine.

As proposed by the Student’s Scientific Council, Fatime Hawchar medical student received the Dean’s Award for her outstanding scientific work which was presented at the István Apáthy memorial competition.

The University of Szeged has reached a new milestone: a new precision robotic surgical device has been tested at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Surgery at the Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical School, which could revolutionise the accuracy and safety of knee replacement surgery.
According to this year's national ranking of higher education institutions, the Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical School is the best faculty at the University of Szeged.
