Online Open Day at the University of Szeged

Similar to each year, our institution, the University of Szeged holds an Online Open Day on the 2nd and the 10th of March.

For first-hand information regarding the offered international study programmes at the University of Szeged we are preparing 2 Online Open Day sessions. One of the sessions will be dedicated for Health Programmes while the other session will be dedicated for Non-health Programmes.

The 2 sessions will be one week apart and representatives from our 12 Faculties will join us on these occasions. A series of presentations will take place during the event, where participants will have the chance to receive first-hand information about the offered programmes at the institution and tips on how to apply using the DreamApply online application platform for self-financed students.

Participants can also learn about Szeged, the city itself, and what the student life is like outside the study rooms as well. Moreover, participants will have the chance to ask questions from the Faculty representatives and receive immediate answers from the comfort of their homes!

Join us and meet our students who come from all over the world to learn about their experiences as SZTE members!

Following a cornerstone-laying ceremony for SZTE’S Regional Cyclotron and Radiopharmaceutical Supply Center in April, another major milestone has been reached in one of the University of Szeged’s flagship strategic investments. On December 9, GE HealthCare announced that – for the first time worldwide – the MINItrace Magni cyclotron will be installed at the University of Szeged, marking a major advance for nuclear medicine and theranostic treatment in Hungary. At a special event held at the University’s main building, the significance and future impact of the pioneering device were outlined by Prof. Dr. László Rovó, Rector of the University of Szeged; Dr. Judit Fendler, Chancellor; Prof. Dr. László Pávics, Professor at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and project leader; Dr. György Erőss, Regional Customer Relations Manager for Central and Eastern Europe at GE HealthCare Hungary Kft.; and Jan Wolber, Global Product Leader for GE HealthCare Digital.
