As part of the highly successful Researchers’ Night program series, the Skills Centre welcomed visitors this year at six stations, operated by its Unit A and B.
On September 26, 2025, between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, a total of 116 enthusiastic participants had the opportunity to take a glimpse into the world of emergency care and ultrasound diagnostics, as well as the day-to-day work of anaesthesiologists, paediatricians, and internal medicine specialists.
Thanks to our simulators, visitors were immersed in a world where practice and skills development take centre stage — offering not only playful learning experiences but also the chance to acquire and refine the essential skills required in the medical profession.
Participants could choose from the following interactive sessions:
Presentation of Simulation Tools – The Fascinating World of Fetal Life
Dr. Mária Jankó
(Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology)
Presentation of Simulation Tools – How Anaesthesiologists Prepare You for Surgery
Dr. Barbara Nóra Kovács, Dr. Olivér Kovács, Dr. Bálint Magyar, Dr. Bea Sulyok-Elier, Dr. Kristóf Dani, Dr. Klára Makai
(Institute of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy)

Very nice visitor feedback following a group visit to Skills Centre:
'I would say this about the experience: walking towards the Arad Martyrs'
Square, the students said: this was worth more than all the university
open days combined. Thank you very much for your work.

2024.11.07.
It was the 8th company visit organized by the association during the year. The speaker then presented the Integrated Management System of Univerisity of Szeged, which covers a network of numerous and diverse activities within the institution.
The visit continued with a visit to the Skills Center (building tour, viewing of skill labs), during which Anita Abraham-Schliz gave a detailed and knowledgeable description of the visited Ambulance Simulator, the cardiology, mammography, ultrasound and obstetrics educational test labs.
The presentation of the Skills Center was given the maximum score by all participants who completed the satisfaction questionnaire, both in terms of content and topicality.

“V4 Network of Medical Simulation Centres: Building Good Practices”
The project was led by Lazarski University in Warsaw, in partnership with Masaryk University in the Czech Republic, the University of Szeged, and Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. The aim of the project was to promote medical simulation training and collaboration in the V4 region, as well as to introduce the region as a valuable international partner in the growing global medical simulation industry.
At the end of the project, a joint publication titled ‘V4 Medical Simulation Centers Best Practices’ was released, which is available at the following link:
