Student responsibilities - Institutional policies
STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
  • be aware of the content of the syllabus,
  • check regularly CooSpace/Neptun with a linked email address, as these are the means of communication between students and lecturers/instructors
  • arrive on time to lectures and practices
  • leave only after class has ended
  • follow the lectures, take active part in practices
  • show emphatic and respectful behavior during classes
  • avoid the use of cell phone or other electronic devices unless asked by the lecturer/instructor
  • acquire any new material presented in class if absent
  • read the required literature
  • meet the deadlines
  • do.not.cheat.
  • contact the responsible lecturer/instructor via e-mail and/or ask for an appointment if the student has any course-related problems

TESTS, ORAL EXAMS
  • Before the examination/midterm the examiner will check each student’s ID and will provide instructions about the administration of the exam.
  • Students are asked to bring their photo ID and completion sheet with them. Students are permitted to have only pens/pencils with them, all other personal items (backpacks, cell phones, notes) must be left in the front of the room, or where the examiner/proctor indicates.
  • Any form of misconduct (cheating, use of non-permitted electronics, etc.) will result in immediate suspension and failing grade.
  • In suspicious cases students are obliged to hand in the device (or other materials) to the examiner.
  • If caught cheating, students are required to hand in the test/draft. The examiner will sign and forward it to the Educational Committee of the Institution.
  • If a student does not cooperate or cheating attempts are repeated, the Educational Committee of the Institution will initiate disciplinary proceedings in breach of academic standards.
